About the Innovation Sprint

What is the Innovation Sprint?

The Innovation Sprint is a 3-day creative experience where individuals and teams begin with their business idea; they explore what makes business ideas successful, to design, test and strengthen their business idea and identify the key milestones that will accelerate the idea along its innovation journey.

The innovation sprint is available in three formats:

Innovation Sprint Round - This sprint round is conducted entirely online over the course of three days. Each day, participants should expect to spend approximately one to two hours viewing instructional videos and completing the innovation work.
On-Demand Program - Where participants progress at their own pace and have up to 60 days to develop and strengthen their business ideas.
Organisation Program - The creative platform encourages employees to come up with ideas. The action learning modules enables both individuals and teams to improve, reject, pivot and change the ideas until the idea is strengthened and ready for presentation to decision-makers.

Who Owns the Intellectual Property?

Each Innovation Sprint participants owns their intellectual property. It is strongly suggested that each participant develops their own IP Strategy. Visit Module 5 in the Innovation Sprint for more information on IP strategies.

Chase Consulting Group will make no claim to ownership of intellectual property (IP) resulting from the business ideas and activities that it supports in the Innovation Sprint.

Chase Consulting has helped its clients develop their business ideas and innovations over the past 20 years, as part of our client consulting relationship and our Code of Ethics.

Chase Consulting Group adheres to the Australian Institute of Management Consultants Code of Ethics.

Each participant has 60 days of access to the Innovation Sprint Modules, including the Innovation Sprint Canvas.

Organisation Participants

The Innovation Sprint program is available to organisations as a cloud-hosted solution that works within your organisation’s Innovation Management System.

The Innovation Sprint program is an open and creative platform through which anybody can contribute ideas. It’s easy to use on any device or browser.

Organisations and their innovation sprint participants have 12 months of access to the Innovation Sprint Modules and the Innovation Sprint Canvas.

The Innovation Sprint micro-credential is a certificate of completion for participants for improving their innovation skills.

All Innovation Sprint participants can apply for their Certificate of Completion at the completion of the Innovation Sprint. A small fee is applicable to cover the submission assessments and processing costs.

The assessment is a simple 4-step process:

Apply for the Certificate of Completion with payment.
Reflect on your experience and gather evidence of capabilities.
Submit a reflective testimony (90-second video or 300-word document) and evidence of completion – Innovation Sprint Canvas.
Chase Consulting assesses the submission and issues the Innovation Sprint Certificate of Completion.
